It is with great regret we have to announce the cancellation of the World Individual Championships 2020.
We had everything in place to hold a fabulous event, and the David Broome Event Centre had put a great deal of time, money and effort into making the venue safe, secure and ready for us to host the competition. However, we have been dealing with an unprecedented and unpredictable situation.
We had been told to expect an announcement today (31st July) from the Welsh Assembly that would allow the competition to go ahead. Regrettably that announcement did not come, so we have no alternative other than to cancel.
We are extremely disappointed, but obviously we have to follow the guidelines set by our government and help keep everyone safe. We will, of course, refund all entry fees. Please bear with us on this as there are many to get through!
We are sorry to cause anyone disappointment or inconvenience.
Let’s hope everyone will be able to return in 2021, and in the meantime, everyone keep safe.
